Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combining acrobatics, dance, music, and martial arts. This art form was created by slaves as a form of proaction during slavery. Today capoeira is practiced by people all over the world. An art created out of oppression during oppression is now used to unify people and build communities.
During this class children will do movements and activities that focus on their coordination, balance, endurance, rhythm and most importantly designed to have FUN!
Kids classes are at The Project Space Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Tuesdays at 6:15pm for children aged 3-6 years old
- Thursdays at 6:15pm for children ages 8 years old and up
